*Because of less snow we give up official race this year. For the people who already booked thicket we will organize snow kite trip during same dates. Hurikamnui 2025 will set mid February!

- Venue: Aza Shimonuma Horonobe Hokkaido (In front of Visitor center)
- Organising Authority: Executive Committee of Hurikamnui Horonobe 2024 and KBFJ
- Supported: Horonbe town, Horonobe Tourism Association, Horonobe “Machi HIto Shigoto Sousei kaigi” etc
- Race: Snowkite endurance race: Lap long distance course (ex. 9km triangle 5 Laps) as first as you can. Fastest participant is the winner.

- Participants Eligibility: Snowkiter or Kiteboarder who can make stable upwind run.
- Participants: 40 people (5 priority seat for ladies) in order of arrival.

Start Chitose Airport 28th , coming back 4th ask us detail. - There is shuttle bus from accommodation to race field.
- What’s Hurikamui：
“Hurikamui” is the huge monster bird appears in ”Ainu” (Local ethnic of Hokkaido)
mythology. Our good partner = huge kite looks like monster bird , doesn’t it?.

Course：900ha flat pastue is our race field. We set 8 ~ 15km triangle course.
Participants lap it several times. Then compete time.
Equipments：Snowkite equipments, water, food, warm cloths and something keep you
warm in case of emergency.
Important rule：
Participants must be older than 16
Parents agreement required if you are younger than 18.
Al participants has a duty to take part in each briefing.
Participants who are under the influence of alcohol or drag can’t start.
“Hurikamui Holonobe” Longest snowkite endurance race in largest snowkite is back! After 3 years of silence (Because of Covid 19) biggest snowkite race in Japan is back 2024 spring! Participants round 9km triangle course 5 wraps. It will be end of February or beginning of March 2024. We will update information here as soon as we got detail!
